She was born in 1978, in Chalkida. She graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of UTH and possesses a doctorate degree from the same institute since 2008. She is the author and co-author of 26 scientific publications, with over 354 citations and a total h-index of 11. She has participated in more than 30 oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
