George S. Amoiridis graduated (1986) from the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, obtained his PhD from the Veterinary School of Glasgow (1996) and holds specializations from the European Colleges ECAR and ECBHM. In 1998 he joined the academic staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly, where he serves as Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Reproduction. He has published more than 80 scientific papers in the field of ruminant reproduction, has supervised 7 doctoral theses and is the scientific director of 15 research projects.<\/p>\n
