Laboratory of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology

 

Discipline: The laboratory trains undergraduate students of the Faculty in the subjects of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology of animals.

The courses of Macroscopic Anatomy teach the shape, position, relationship and structure of the organs and tissues of the body of domestic mammals and birds.

The courses of Microscopic Anatomy teach the structure of organs, tissues and cells with the help of a photon microscope as well as the embryological development of the body.

The research activity of the laboratory focuses mainly on anatomical studies of small ruminants and birds.

The laboratory collaborates for research with laboratory and clinical units of the country and abroad. In addition, it provides scientific support to requests from institutions related to anatomy.
