Curriculum vitae


Katerina Manolakou graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens (1991) and obtained her PhD from the University of Montpellier II (1996). She worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the MRC Human Genetics Unit in Edinburgh UK (1997-2001). She was appointed scientific officer at the National Bioethics Commission in Greece (2001-2006). She joined the academic staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Thessaly, in 2006 and was seconded to the Ministry of Health where she served as a Deputy Manager at the NHS General Hospital of Laconia (2016-2020). She has publications in peer-review journals (h index 7, Web of science), presentations in national and international conferences/meetings and participation in collective volumes on bioethics.
Έχει επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα διεθνή περιοδικά (h index 7, Web of Science) και ανακοινώσεις σε εθνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια. Έχει συμμετοχές σε συλλογικούς τόμους βιοηθικής, έχει μεταφράσει στα ελληνικά σχετικές διεθνείς συμβάσεις και έχει (συν)επιμεληθεί την έκδοση ενός βιβλίου βιοηθικής.
