Research interests


Surgery, pathology and obstetrics of horses, donkeys and equines, infectious and parasitic diseases as well as the principles of animal husbandry of the above species. Clinical veterinary practice of equines, with emphasis on individual veterinary medicine.

 

Curriculum vitae


Tyrnenopoulou Panagiota is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Thessaly since January 2021. She was born in 1988, in Kozani. She is a graduate of the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, has undergone further training in equine pathology and surgery, and holds a PhD from the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the same University. She is the author of 23 scientific publications, with over 134 citations and a total h-index of 6. She has participated in more than 40 oral and poster presentations at national and international scientific conferences. She is a reviewer in 3 scientific journals. He has been a veterinarian of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI number: 10146864) since 2016 and has participated as a competition veterinarian in national equestrian competitions. He has worked as a veterinarian in an equine clinic in the UK.
